Job summary

Masungi Georeserve Foundation Inc. is seeking a Tourism Officer with strong project management, leadership, and communication skills to support and lead tourism, guest operations, and learning and development initiatives.

You will organize learning and development programs for rangers, advance geotourism and hospitality management, and coordinate with partners and government agencies to ensure successful programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in tourism, project management, program coordination, or related fields.
• Leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders from planning through implementation.
• Preferably with ecotourism, biology, environmental science, or related studies.
• Experience in hospitality, conservation, or nature-based tourism is an advantage.
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to work across operations and external-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize learning and development programs for rangers.
• Support geotourism and hospitality management initiatives.
• Facilitate guest operations for the Night Trail and other activities.
• Manage projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain external relations with partners, communities, and government agencies.
• Take on other related duties as assigned by the managing trustee.
