Job summary

VRI Crew in the Philippines is seeking a motivated individual to support product sourcing and data management for our ecommerce platform. You will evaluate products across channels, negotiate with suppliers, and source cost-effective items to improve our competitiveness.

You will also configure and maintain CPV data, manage category trees and attributes, and ensure accurate product categorization. English fluency and a related bachelor's degree are required, with a team-oriented approach.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated individual to support product sourcing and data management for our e-commerce platform. The role involves evaluating products across multiple channels, negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive prices, and sourcing cost-effective items to improve market competitiveness. Additionally, you will handle the daily configuration and maintenance of CPV data, including managing category trees and attributes to ensure accurate and efficient product categorization.

Qualifications: Relevant experience with a prominent local e-commerce platform, for FMCG, consumer electronics, fashion, home décor, outdoor gear, automotive or motorcycle parts. Product Sourcing: Compare products from various channels, negotiate prices with suppliers, and identify low-cost products to enhance competitiveness.

Understanding of fashion and consumer trends is a plus. Guideline Adherence: Review and apply company guidelines effectively. Work Ethic: Exhibit a down-to-earth attitude, good leadership and organizational skills, flexibility in planning, proactivity, and a strong sense of team spirit.

Requirements: Education: Preferably Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce or a related business field.

Language Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent spoken and written fluency in English. Experience managing businesses and brands. Policy Compliance: Adhere to the company’s Off/Leave policy.

Work Hours: Commit to an 8-hour workday, with fixed hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM SG time Work Location: Be able to work at the client’s workplace (BGC Taguig).
