Job summary

PlayerAuctions Manila is seeking a Risk Officer/Fraud Officer to join our ecommerce operations in Pasig City. The role focuses on risk management, chargebacks, verification of new users, and monitoring transactions to prevent fraud in a 24/7 hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in financial services or ecommerce.
• Experience in risk management, payments, or ecommerce.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong attention to detail and data validation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily risk-related claims and chargebacks.
• Conduct verification procedures for newly registered users and review incoming transactions.
• Perform verification calls as needed for risk management purposes.
• Monitor multiple mailbox queues and respond to customer inquiries and cases via email.
• Monitor order system and payment center queues, ensuring all cases are addressed promptly.
• Review, investigate, and mediate disputes and manual arbitration matters.
• Assess the effectiveness of anti‑fraud systems and apply sound judgment to supplement automated processes.
• Monitor user feedback related to security and identify emerging fraud patterns.
• Update tracking tools and reports with complete and accurate information.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
