Job summary

Emapta is seeking an E-Commerce Product Catalog Specialist to manage, enrich, and validate product records across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with suppliers, merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimal discoverability of extensive catalogs.

You will work with leading platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and more) and leverage PIM/CMS tools to uphold data standards, improve content quality, and support campaigns and launches.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in eCommerce product content or catalog management.
• Experience managing online product catalogs including titles, descriptions, attributes, categories, images, and variations.
• Strong knowledge of product enrichment, classification, mapping, attribution, and data quality validation.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, CMS, PIM, marketplace platforms, or product data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, enrich, and publish product records within agreed timelines, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and consistent.
• Improve product titles, descriptions, attributes, imagery, and content to strengthen discoverability and conversion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and align enrichment priorities.
• Complete product mapping, attribution, classification, and categorization per standards.
• Validate live product pages for correct display and data accuracy.
• Identify and resolve content gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
• Conduct regular product content reviews and recommend enrichment opportunities.
• Support taxonomy, filtering, and category structures to improve visibility across search and browse experiences.
• Work with suppliers to obtain complete product information and assets.
