Job summary

RBS UNIVERSAL GRAINS TRADER CORPORATION is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee fleet operations and ensure efficient movement of goods. You will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and delivery activities to ensure on‑time, cost‑controlled distribution and collaborate with internal and external partners for overall customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics or dispatch, a relevant degree, and strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years in logistics, transport operations, or dispatching.
• Knowledge of local trucking routes and transport regulations.
• Strong phone and messaging skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Books and schedules vehicles to transport products.
• Coordinate with third-party trucking providers and negotiate freight rates.
• Monitor daily truck deployments and track shipments in real time.
• Ensure drivers arrive on schedule and enforce conduct.
• Prepare shipping and transport documents.
• Address trucking problems quickly.
• Record hauling expenses and report on transport efficiency.
• Lead investigations into driver misconduct or delays.
• Manage fleet fuel consumption.
• Maintain compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
