Job summary

Angkas in the Philippines seeks a DREX Officer to supervise driver concerns and ensure operational performance from the Manila hub. The role offers hybrid work options, balancing onsite and remote collaboration to drive strategic initiatives and community welfare.

The ideal candidate will lead, coach, and implement programs across governance, training, and incident resolution while aligning with company targets and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in transportation management software, GPS tracking systems, and data analysis tools.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and motivate others.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the community structure and its leaders.
• Align operations with company policies, programs, and performance targets.
• Serve as the operational bridge between management and the community.
• Communicate official updates and directives clearly and consistently.
• Track and analyze community performance metrics (e.g., activity rate, cancellations, ratings, KPI compliance).
• Recognize top performers and coach those needing improvement.
• Implement training and development initiatives to strengthen performance.
• Address and resolve community concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process assistance requests and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Gather and relay feedback from the community to management.
• Plan and execute welfare, engagement, and productivity programs.
• Support inter-departmental projects requiring community involvement.
• Manage incentive programs and monitor their effectiveness.
• Monitor competitor activities and community sentiment.
• Provide insights and recommendations to guide decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Escalate gaps and propose actionable recommendations.
• May recommend but not approve new programs, budgets, or policies without authorization
• Stay updated on best practices and share knowledge within the team.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Support special projects and other assigned initiatives.

You will the in-charge of:

1. Community Leadership & Engagement

• Lead and support the community structure and its leaders.
