Job summary

Lynk Global is seeking an experienced Drafter (SolidWorks / AutoCAD) to join our on-site team in BGC Taguig. You will produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, prepare fabrication and shop drawings, and develop models from architectural and engineering drawings for architectural metalwork and facades.

The role requires 3+ years in drafting, strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to work with Australian project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drafting experience.
• Strong SolidWorks experience essential.
• Strong AutoCAD experience essential.
• Experience producing fabrication or shop drawings.
• Understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Able to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good written and spoken English.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Drafter to join our team and work directly with an established Australian construction and fabrication company specialising in architectural metalwork, façades and bespoke fabricated structures. This is a technical drafting role suited to someone with strong experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ideally within metal fabrication, structural steel, architectural metalwork or a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Preparing fabrication, shop and construction drawings
• Developing detailed models from architectural and engineering drawings
• Drafting components, assemblies and fabricated metal structures
• Preparing drawings for architectural metalwork, façades, screens, balustrades and custom fabricated items
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information
• Making revisions and updates based on design and project requirements
• Ensuring drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for fabrication
