Position Summary
The Senior Draft Machine Technician is responsible for leading the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of beer draft dispensing systems. The role ensures the reliability of draft equipment, provides technical support to customers, supervises field service activities, and maintains compliance with GMP, food safety, and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
A. Priority installations & technical Services
- Install and commission beer draft machines, glycol chillers, CO₂ systems, taps, regulators, and dispensing equipment.
- Conduct site assessment and ensure proper setup according to company standards.
- Perform equipment testing and calibration before customer handover.
B. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all installed draft machines.
- Clean and sanitize beer lines, faucets, couplers, and dispensing systems.
- Inspect glycol cooling systems, compressors, pumps, and pressure regulators.
- Maintain service records and equipment history.
C. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues affecting draft equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components to minimize equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with suppliers for warranty claims and technical support when required.
- Ensure all repairs are completed within agreed service timelines.
D. Field Operations & Customer Support
- Lead field technicians during customer installations and service calls.
- Provide on-site technical support and operator training to customers.
- Respond promptly to urgent service requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain excellent customer service and professional communication.
E. Inventory & Asset Management
- Monitor and coordinate request inventory of spare parts, tools, and draft equipment.
- Recommend replenishment of critical spare parts and consumables.
- Ensure proper documentation of equipment issued, returned, and installed.
F. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all field activities comply with GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during repairs.
- Report safety hazards, incidents, and corrective actions immediately.
G. Training & Team Development
- Supervise and mentor Draft Technicians and support their technical development.(Pasig tech)
- Prepare weekly service reports, preventive maintenance reports, and equipment status updates.
- Coordinate with Production,warehouse and Customer Service regarding equipment availability and scheduling.
Working Conditions
- Works in breweries, warehouses, customer sites, bars, restaurants, and field locations.
- Requires frequent travel, lifting of draft equipment, and working in cold and mechanical environments.
- May require weekend, holiday, and emergency service support based on customer operational requirements.
