Job summary

YSS Laboratories Co., Inc. in Manila seeks a skilled technician to support GMP-compliant operations.

You will operate and maintain pharmaceutical processing equipment, assist in preventive maintenance, and document equipment performance according to SOPs. The role requires a mechanical/ electrical/ electronics background with at least two years in utilities such as HVAC or boilers, and may involve relocation to Naic, Cavite as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of work experience in utilities, including HVAC, boiler, air compressor, water treatment facility, and pharmaceutical processing equipment.
• Preferably with a non-professional driver’s license.
• Good technical skills and basic communication abilities.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Complies with cGMP, GDocP, SOPs and safety protocols in duties.
• Performs pre-operational checks, operates machines, and keeps areas clean.
• Assists in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and qualification of equipment.
• Monitors equipment conditions, reports breakdowns, and prepares documentation.
• Uses tools/resources properly and supports training and waste management initiatives.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complies with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDocP), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols in the performance of assigned duties.

2. Performs pre-operational checks, operates assigned machines and equipment, and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and assigned work areas in accordance with established SOPs.

3. Assists in the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, commissioning, and qualification of machines, equipment, and utilities, as directed and assessed by the Maintenance Engineer.

4. Monitors and reports equipment conditions, breakdowns, repairs, and utilities consumption, and prepares required documentation and reports in accordance with SOPs and established programs.

5. Ensures proper use and care of tools, equipment, and company resources; practices proper waste segregation and disposal; assists in technician training and utilities conservation initiatives; and performs other related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, and ElectronicsTechnology, or equivalent experience

• Preferably with at least two (2) years of workexperience in some or all utilities, including but notlimited to HVAC, boiler, air compressor, watertreatment facility, and pharmaceutical processing equipment

• Preferably with a non-professional driver’s license

• Acceptable technical skills

• Acceptable communication skills

• Computer literate

• Applicants must be willing to be assigned to UN Ave., Paco, Manila and eventually to Naic, Cavite once the company relocates.
