Job summary

GiGi's Playhouse Syracuse is seeking a Development Associate to support donor relationships, stewardship, fundraising events, and day-to-day operations. Working with the national Development team, you will help create memorable donor experiences and ensure fundraising initiatives run smoothly.

This role is highly collaborative and person-driven, focusing on donor mailings, stewardship, sponsorship outreach, and event support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, events coordination, hospitality or project management.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for relationship building and delivering exceptional donor experiences.
• Commitment to GiGi's Playhouse mission and creating an accepting world.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating exceptional donor experiences through stewardship, calls, handwritten notes, emails, and recognition efforts.
• Coordinate donor appreciation gifts, stewardship packages, and outreach materials.
• Support relationship management for individual, corporate, and foundation supporters.
• Prepare donor meeting materials, presentations, and leave-behind packets.
• Ensure donor interactions reflect the mission and values of GiGi's Playhouse.
• Collaborate with interns and GiGi Gianni for meaningful donor outreach.
