Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Mid-Level Documenter to produce accurate technical documentation under the direction of the Design Excellence Coordinator. This role supports multiple projects and develops technical expertise while contributing to construction documentation and final As-Built drawings.

The successful candidate will work with NCC and Australian Standards, set up Revit projects, and maintain documentation packages, ensuring QA readiness and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required.
• Working knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and direction from the Design Excellence Coordinator.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for multiple projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Set up projects in Revit and assist with the creation of construction documentation packages.
• Develop and update drawings throughout all project stages, including the preparation of final As-Built documentation.
• Review and quality-check own work before submitting documentation for formal QA review.
• Revise drawings and documentation based on QA feedback and project requirements.
• Apply an expanding knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and construction documentation best practices.
• Communicate design intent clearly through well-detailed technical drawings.
• Collaborate effectively with the Design Excellence Coordinator, Senior Documenters, BIM Managers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of documentation.
• Continuously improve technical documentation skills and proficiency in Revit and industry best practices.

Job Description

The Mid-Level Documenter is responsible for producing accurate, high-quality technical documentation under the direction of the Design Excellence Coordinator. This role supports the documentation of multiple projects and is expected to work with increasing independence while continuing to develop technical expertise under the guidance of a Senior Documenter or BIM Manager.

The successful candidate will have a growing understanding of Australian construction standards, including the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, buildability principles, and effective detail communication through technical drawings. They will contribute throughout the entire documentation process—from project setup in Revit to the preparation of construction documentation and final As-Built drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
