We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Documentation Staff member to join our Logistics team at our headquarters in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our import and export operations. As Documentation Staff in Logistics, you will be responsible for managing, preparing, and coordinating all documentation required for the smooth movement of goods across international borders. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with customs regulations, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating efficient supply chain operations for Alberto Shoes Corporation.
Preparing and processing customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin for export shipments
Ensuring all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and comply with customs regulations and international trade requirements
Coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents to facilitate timely clearance of goods
Maintaining organized records of all import and export documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Tracking and monitoring shipment status, ensuring timely submission of documentation to relevant authorities
Liaising with internal departments, including sales, warehouse, and finance, to obtain necessary information for documentation
Identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies and irregularities to prevent delays in customs clearance
Staying updated on customs regulations, tariff classifications, and international trade compliance requirements
Assisting with data entry and maintaining logistics management systems and databases
Supporting the logistics team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in import/export documentation, customs clearance, or logistics operations is preferred.
Knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, and international trade regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Microsoft Word, and other MS Office applications; experience with logistics software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
