JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Distribution Sales Supervisor
BASIC FUNCTION
The Distribution Sales Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the company's distribution sales operations within the assigned area. The position ensures the achievement of sales targets, expansion of market coverage, effective management of distributors and wholesale customers, and proper implementation of sales strategies and company policies.
The Distribution Sales Supervisor also monitors the performance of the sales team, maintains strong customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, and ensures efficient coordination of sales, inventory, collection, and delivery activities.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Sales Management and Target Achievement
- Supervises and monitors the daily sales activities and performance of the distribution sales team.
- Ensures the achievement of assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develops and implements sales strategies to increase sales volume and market penetration.
- Monitors sales performance and prepares action plans to address gaps and improve results.
- Identifies new customers, markets, and business opportunities for expansion.
B. Distributor and Customer Management
- Maintains and develops strong relationships with distributors, wholesale customers, and other key accounts.
- Conducts regular customer visits to monitor concerns, sales opportunities, and market conditions.
- Assists in resolving customer concerns, complaints, and other sales-related issues.
- Ensures proper implementation of pricing, promotions, and other company-approved sales programs.
- Monitors customer accounts and coordinates with concerned departments regarding orders, collections, and other requirements.
C. Sales Team Supervision
- Supervises, coaches, and provides guidance to Sales Agent per area.
- Monitors attendance, productivity, field activities, and overall performance of the sales team.
- Conducts regular performance reviews and provides recommendations for improvement.
- Ensures that all assigned personnel comply with company policies, procedures, and sales standards.
D. Market and Inventory Monitoring
- Monitors market trends, competitor activities, customer demands, and pricing.
- Provides recommendations to management regarding sales opportunities and market strategies.
- Coordinates with the Warehouse, Purchasing, and other concerned departments regarding product availability and inventory requirements.
- Monitors slow-moving, fast-moving, and in-demand products within the assigned area.
- Helps ensure proper inventory availability to support sales requirements.
E. Reports and Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepares and submits accurate and timely sales reports, performance updates, forecasts, and other required documents.
- Analyzes sales data and recommends appropriate actions to improve sales performance.
- Monitors the proper documentation of sales transactions and customer accounts.
- Conducts regular sales meetings and communicates management directives to the sales team.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Distribution Sales Supervisor shall be accountable for:
- Achievement of assigned distribution sales targets.
- Growth and expansion of the assigned market and customer base.
- Performance, productivity, and development of the assigned sales team.
- Proper implementation of company sales policies, pricing, promotions, and procedures.
- Accuracy and timely submission of sales reports and other required documentation.
- Effective management of customer relationships and resolution of sales-related concerns.
- Proper coordination of sales activities with concerned departments.
- Compliance with company rules, policies, and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any other related field.
- Relevant training, certifications, or experience in sales and distribution management may be considered an advantage.
Experience
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales, distribution, wholesale, or business development.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
- Experience in the motorcycle parts, wholesale or distribution industry is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, distribution operations, and customer relationship management.
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, coach, and motivate a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to conduct regular fieldwork and travel within the assigned area.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required.
- Must be results-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working under pressure.
