Job summary

Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a Director of Talent Development in the Philippines to lead regional learning initiatives. You will design, implement, and evaluate programs to foster a culture of continuous learning for colleagues, including managers and emerging leaders.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, leverage data and feedback, and deliver blended development solutions at scale, shaping learning experiences that address current and future business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in HR.
• 10+ years leading L&D initiatives with designing, implementing, and delivering learning programs.
• Experience in Organizational Development and managing a team in a global org.
• Experience designing training through online learning, ILT, and micro-learning.
• Experience implementing assessment tools such as 360 feedback, Hogan, MBTI, StrengthsFinder, DiSC (certifications preferred).
• Experience diagnosing performance problems and designing interventions.
• Strong ability to diagnose internal customer needs and develop talent solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive talent development and org development interventions aligning with business priorities.
• Conduct learning needs analyses to identify gaps and create innovative solutions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
• Leverage data, surveys, and feedback to influence learning strategy.
• Evaluate programs for effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to anticipate needs and benchmark best practices.
• Create blended development solutions including instructor-led, e-learning, and micro-learning.
• Lead design and delivery of leadership development for all levels.
• Prepare budgetary recommendations to meet geography goals.
