Qualifications

This role is responsible for driving event revenue, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless event delivery while working closely with Sales, Operations, and Food & Beverage teams. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all event planning and coordination activities for corporate and social events.
• Drive event sales and revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and maximizing existing accounts.
• Manage client relationships from inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring profitability targets are met.
• Monitor event performance, guest feedback, and operational standards to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Events team to achieve departmental goals and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Events, Catering, or Sales within the hospitality industry, including leadership experience.
• Proven track record in driving event revenue and managing corporate and social events.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and client management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales or event management systems.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
