• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; Master’s preferred
• 17+ years in server engineering with senior leadership experience
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms: Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell and Ansible
• Excellent leadership, communication, and global program management skills
• Experience leading distributed teams across time zones and hybrid cloud initiatives

About the role

The Director will lead a worldwide team accountable for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise on-premises server infrastructure. This leadership role combines strategic planning, deep technical knowledge, and strong operational discipline to deliver secure, highly available, and scalable platforms that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will drive infrastructure modernization, improve service reliability, and guide complex engineering programs across multiple regions and time zones. This role requires a leader who can balance long-term strategy with hands‑on technical oversight and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global strategy for on-premises server infrastructure that supports business and technology priorities


• Lead cross-functional engineering teams by setting goals, defining standards, and ensuring timely delivery


• Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape infrastructure direction and resolve major technical issues


• Build a strong, accountable team culture focused on coaching, technical growth, and continuous improvement


• Design robust, scalable, and secure server infrastructure solutions


• Define engineering standards and oversee the full lifecycle of solution design, build, and deployment


• Oversee Windows Server environments and complex multi-forest Active Directory setups


• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix to maximize performance and utilization


• Lead capacity management and performance tuning across compute, storage, and network environments


• Drive automation for server provisioning, patching, and configuration management using PowerShell, Ansible, and similar tools

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred


• 18+ years of progressive experience in server engineering, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles


• Strong expertise in Windows Server, multi-forest Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix


• Deep experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Dell EMC, NetApp, and Pure Storage, and with SAN architecture


• Demonstrated success in automation and scripting using PowerShell and Ansible


• Excellent leadership, communication, and global program management skills


• Proven ability to manage distributed teams across different time zones


• Experience with hybrid cloud integration and migration programs


• Hands‑on knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution


• Familiarity with ITIL and enterprise service management practices
