Job summary

Sanelo PH Inc is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure leader to operate the APAC data centre, manage DR replication, and ensure reliability of the solution across infrastructure products and features.

You will lead the IT Infrastructure team in APAC, coordinating with Sourcing, Capacity Strategy, Data Centre Engineering, Site Reliability, and engineering groups to drive scalable lifecycle deployment and cost-efficient management strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deployment, diagnosis, and management experience on Microsoft platforms.
• 5+ years of managing IT teams through large-scale growth and change.
• 5+ years working with development/engineering groups in configuring applications from a systems engineering perspective.
• Experience building distributed, fault-tolerant services.
• Experience in project management, plans, resource management, sizing, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Cyber Security including penetration testing, cyber essentials, firewall, intrusion detection, people training/awareness.
• Supplier management including reviewing contracts, performance reviews, renewals, negotiations, and migrations.
• Budget management familiarity with CAPEX and OPEX, forecasting, invoice approvals, cost estimates for kit, software, and services.
• Reviewing and identifying operational cost-saving initiatives.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the APAC data centre and replicate to the DR site, testing reliability of the solution.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Capacity Strategy, Data Centre Engineering, Site Reliability and other peers to deliver lifecycle deployment and management strategy across infrastructure products and features.
• Lead the IT Infrastructure team in the APAC region and determine appropriate resource levels to support business needs.
• Maintain and service file servers, application servers, backups, email, web servers, and PCs.
• Maintain IT policies per ISO 27001 and update with evolving technology.
• Perform stock control on IT accessories, suppliers, stationery and media.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation of the APAC data centre along with the replication to the DR site and testing the reliability of the solution

Work closely with Sourcing, Capacity Strategy, Data Centre Engineering, Site Reliability and other Computer peers to deliver sustainable lifecycle deployment and management strategy across infrastructure products and features.

Lead the IT Infrastructure team in the APAC region and recommend the right level of resources to support the business needs

Responsible for maintenance duties on file server , Application servers, Backup, Email, Web servers and PCs.

Responsible to maintain and adhere to IT policies and standards as described in ISO 27001 documentations and it’s continue updating due to technological changes.

Responsible to perform stock control on all IT accessories, suppliers, stationery and media

Infrastructure Skills required:

Ideally Microsoft Certification and cisco CCNA

Microsoft Technologies (Exchange, AD, Windows Server, etc.), SharePoint Online, Teams, Office 365.

Storage solutions, IBM SAN Storage

Cisco Switching, Troubleshooting. Routing, WAN and LAN, Unified Communications

Network Security and Firewalls Meraki , Palo Alto, Sonicwall

Network Architecture & Design, VMware / Hyper V Virtualization Veeam backup.

ISO 27001 and ITIL framework.

Key Requirements:

5+ years’ deployment, diagnosis, and management experience on Microsoft platforms.

Assist with budget management, familiar with CAPEX and OPEX management, forecasting, assisting with invoice approvals, cost estimates for kit, software, professional services, and refresh programs.

Reviewing and identifying operational cost-saving initiatives.

Great communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

Specific experience desired:

Build scalable, reliable, and efficient mechanisms required to meet our rapidly increasing demand for computing resources.

Experience in disaster recovery systems, strategy, and delivery.

Provide effective strategy for data collection, establish rational metrics and create a plan to analyze and report on relevant business drivers and KPIs.

Lead project scoping, roadmap, and architecture discussions with business stakeholders and Infrastructure leadership.

Long-term strategic responsibility for on-premise Infrastructure and Cloud Computing.

Work closely with Sourcing, Capacity Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Site Reliability, to deliver sustainable lifecycle deployment and management strategy across infrastructure products & features.

Manage team growth, coach individual team members, effectively manage performance, and clearly articulate team strategy to management chain.

Developing the team continuously and when appropriate looking to strengthen or fill gaps in core competencies with additional support.

Highly detail-oriented engineer who thrives on process creation and leading change.

Track record of leading team(s) who deliver technically demanding cross-organizational projects.

Alignment of Infrastructure strategy and planning with the company's business goals.

Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality, diverge from each other, or diverge from business and Infrastructure strategies.
