Job summary

Global IT Services in the Philippines seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to ensure a robust, secure and scalable core IT infrastructure with emphasis on Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, PKI and Exchange Online.

You will design, deploy and maintain hybrid AD/DNS/PKI environments, manage Exchange Online and move on-premise systems to AWS. You will automate with PowerShell and Service-Now, supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced financial services setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems and/or Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 7+ years experience as an IT infrastructure engineer, preferably in financial industry and international setting.
• Experience leading projects focused on subject technologies.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server OS management, deployment, hardening, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere.
• Solid knowledge of PKI infrastructure, concepts and deployments.
• Solid knowledge of networking and security concepts.
• Solid understanding and practical experience of ITSM/ITIL.
• Strong skills in organization, prioritization, project management and problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Industry certifications (AWS, Terraform, GitLab) advantageous.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Good knowledge of SQL relational databases.
• Experience with Agile (Kanban).
• VMware vSphere know-how and experience.
• Experience in financial services/regulatory environments.
• Excellent English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Hybrid Active Directory infrastructure with Domain Controllers, Group Policies and Entra ID interfacing services and security hardening.
• Design and maintain Exchange Online and AWS SES messaging platforms.
• Design, deploy and maintain internal and external DNS infrastructure (AD and AWS Route 53) with security hardening.
• Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise PKI and security hardening.
• Design, deploy and maintain Entra ID and IdP features.
• Design, management and hardening of Windows Server products.
• Support transition of on-premise infrastructure to AWS cloud services.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools (PowerShell, Service-Now).
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Implement automated monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for infrastructure incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for seamless integration.

As Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will focus on ensuring that the client's core IT infrastructure is robust, secure and scalable with a particular emphasis on managing and optimizing Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, PKI and Exchange Online.

• Design, deploy and maintain Hybrid Active Directory infrastructure, including Domain Controllers, Group Policies and Entra ID interfacing services, as well as its overall security hardening
• Design and maintain messaging platforms based on Exchange Online and AWS SES
• Design, deploy and maintain internal and external DNS infrastructure, based on Active Directory and AWS Route 53 and its overall security hardening
• Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise PKI and its overall security hardening
• Design, deploy and maintain Entra ID and its overall IdP features
• Design, management and hardening of Windows Server product
• Participate and support the transition of existing on-premise infrastructure to AWS cloud services

Automate

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes, mainly based on PowerShell and Service-Now.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Implement automated monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Provide second and third level support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely and collaborate with other IT and cross-functional teams, including network, security and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of infrastructure components

What we expect

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems and/or Computer Science or related quantitative field
• Demonstrated experience as an IT infrastructure Engineer, preferably in the financial industry and international setting (7+ years experience in a similar role)
• Demonstrated experience in being part of and leading projects focused on subject technologies
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server OS management, deployment, hardening, configuration and troubleshooting Solid knowledge of VMWare vSphere
• Solid knowledge of PKI infrastructure, concepts and deployments
• Solid knowledge of networking and security concepts
• Solid understanding and practical experience of ITSM/ITIL
• Strong skills in personal organization, prioritization, project management and complex problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment ·
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present and sell her/his ideas/projects to senior stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking skills to understand business pain points and propose effective solutions
• Relevant Industry certifications would be advantageous (AWS, Terraform, Gitlab, etc.)
• Good know-how of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Good know-how of Relational Database Services (SQL)
• Experience working within an Agile framework (Kanban)
