Job summary

KittySpout is seeking a Direct Response Video Editor to join our team. You will edit, produce, and manage multiple creative projects with a heavy focus on paid ad creatives for Meta Platforms - VSLs, short and long form.

Youll take raw UGC and transform it into high-converting direct response ads that scale across our paid channels. We are a fast-growing DTC brand selling stainless steel cat water fountains and accessories, with a remote-friendly culture and strong performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating short-form direct-response videos for DTC brands.
• Fluency in English with ability to craft compelling ad copy and scripts.
• Experience editing paid ads for Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram) with proven performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 8 ad briefs per week, maintaining volume and quality.
• Edit VSLs and DR video ads using AI-first workflows.
• Iterate weekly on top-performing ads to improve performance and scale.
• Ensure ads are visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for conversions.
• Stay current with social media trends and editing styles.
• Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns by testing edits, hooks, and structures.
