I. Purpose
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the execution of digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on social media management, community engagement, and market research. The role is designed to provide hands‑on experience in managing brand presence across digital platforms, supporting audience engagement, and generating insights that contribute to marketing eNectiveness and business growth.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Assist in the development and maintenance of social media content
calendars across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Support content publishing and scheduling using platform tools (Meta
Business Suite, LinkedIn)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of content, captions, and assets prior
to posting
Community Management
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and inquiries
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner, aligned
with brand tone of voice
- Escalate complex concerns or issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Track common inquiries and feedback for continuous improvement
Social Listening & Monitoring
- Monitor brand mentions, keywords, and industry conversations across
platforms
- Identify trends, audience sentiment, and emerging topics
- Support the preparation of insights that can inform content and campaign
strategies
Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor
activities
- Assist in benchmarking social media performance and content strategies of
competitors
- Summarize findings into clear and actionable reports or presentations
Reporting & Analytics Support
- Assist in gathering and organizing social media performance data (reach,
engagement, clicks)
- Support the preparation of weekly or monthly performance reports
- Help identify basic insights and recommendations based on performance
data
Content Coordination & Publishing Support
- Coordinate with the creative team for content requirements, timelines, and
deliverables
- Assist in preparing content briefs and ensuring alignment with campaign
objectives
- Review content outputs for quality and alignment before publishing
- Support scheduling and publishing of approved content across platforms
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain organized records of content calendars, reports, and
documentation
- Assist in day-to-day coordination within the digital marketing team
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Social Media Manager or
Digital Marketing Manager
III. Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft ONice or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Interest in technology and B2B marketing is a plus
