Job summary

Metrobank invites a dedicated Product Owner to drive the vision, development, and continuous improvement of our digital products. You will liaise with business and technology teams to translate strategy into actionable requirements and ensure on-time delivery with measurable outcomes.

We seek a candidate with 3–5 years in product ownership or digital product development, strong customer focus, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Digital Product Development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid delivery environments (Agile and Waterfall).
• Strong customer focus with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accountability.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define product goals, requirements, and success measures with stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for business partners on product requirements and scope.
• Manage and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog.
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Represent customer needs and translate feedback into product enhancements.
• Work closely with business, technology, and project teams to deliver solutions.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Ensure requirements are complete and ready for development.
• Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and planning sessions.
• Validate deliverables to ensure they meet business and quality expectations.
