Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Plant Engineer (Maintenance) to inspect, support operations, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel power plant equipment for safe, reliable performance.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, coordinating repairs, and maintaining records, with a focus on safety and adherence to LOTO procedures. Shifts and on-call duties may be required to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Knowledge of diesel power plant operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Understanding of safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor diesel power plant equipment, including generators and auxiliaries.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate repairs.
• Assist in operation and maintenance to ensure reliable plant performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Support emergency troubleshooting and plant call-outs as needed.
