Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients undergoing hemodialysis per DOH rules and company policies.
• Check and prepare materials before dialysis starts.
• Assess patients using the nursing process before, during, and after dialysis.
• Monitor all machine settings and parameters during treatment.
• Prepare patient access for fistula and external access preparations.
• Communicate with the Doctor about patient issues and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications as ordered and document accordingly.
• Record pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis vital signs.

HEMODIALYSIS NURSE

Job Objective/Purpose:

The Hemodialysis Nurse will aid in the clinic operations to support the DOH Compliance for manpower.

Background/Qualifications:

• Duly Licensed Nurse by PRC

• Dialysis Center / Clinic / Hospital experience is an advantage

• Dialysis training, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Basic Life Support (BLS) training is an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients undergoing hemodialysis based on the rules and regulations established by DOH and approved company policies and procedures.

• Check and prepare all materials needed and ensure it is available before the start of dialysis.

• Assess patients using the nursing process before, during, and after dialysis.

• Assesses, inspect, regulates and monitors all machine settings and parameters.

• Prepares patient's access using the required standard for anterio-venus fistula and external access preparations.

• Communicate with the Doctor regarding identified patient-related problems and initiates interventions for the same.

• Administer medications as ordered and properly document the same.

• Performs, monitors, and records pre-dialysis, intra-dialysis, and post-dialysis treatment vital signs

Working Conditions:

Shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Willing to be assigned in Urdaneta City and Eastern part of Pangasinan
