Job summary

Aussie is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive automation across development, testing, and deployment. You will build and manage containerised environments, oversee releases, and improve tooling for scalable software delivery.

You will mentor peers, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and tackle performance challenges in distributed architectures across communication platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD; ideally using Gitlab.
• Familiarity with static/dynamic application security testing.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
• Experience managing and deploying Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
• Experience with distributed systems and monolith applications.
• PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded.
• Golang experience highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, and JavaScript is a bonus.
• Understanding of telco industry and networking technologies is well regarded.

• Identify, manage, and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructure.

• Mentoring and guiding other team members.
