Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a DevOps Engineer to deliver automation, containerised environments, and robust CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced Telco-focused setup. You will mentor teammates and solve performance and architecture challenges while enabling scalable, secure software delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab, and a passion for continuous improvement in a large organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong CI/CD experience, preferably with GitLab.
• Experience deploying Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large organization.
• Knowledge of PHP/Laravel and Golang is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is a bonus.

• Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders
• Implement and manage containerised environments
• Oversee code release and deployment processes
• Identify, manage, and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructure
• Design and develop automations to improve software engineering efficiency and reduce risk
• Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
• Solve interesting performance and architectural challenges
• Application scaling, performance management and metrics
• Mentoring and guiding other team members
