Job summary

Satellite Office in the Philippines is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative team. You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments, and automation to accelerate delivery while ensuring reliability.

You will collaborate with software engineers to deploy scalable solutions, improve performance, and uphold security best practices in a large corporate tech environment. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and GitLab is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD; ideally using GitLab.
• Familiarity with static/dynamic application security testing.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
• Experience deploying Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Awareness of system security best practices.
• Experience creating distributed systems and monoliths.
• PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded.
• Golang experience highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, and/or JavaScript is a bonus.
• Understanding of telco industry and networking technologies.

• Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
• Solve interesting performance and architectural challenges
• Application scaling, performance management and metrics
• Mentoring and guiding other team members

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A deep understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery; ideally using Gitlab

• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Experience with creating and maintaining distributed systems and monolith applications
• PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded
• Golang experience highly regarded
• An understanding of one or more of Python, Java, & Javascript a definite bonus
• An understanding of the telco industry & networking technologies is well regarded
