Job summary

Aussie is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Metro Manila to deliver CI/CD automation, manage containerised environments, and oversee release processes. You will drive efficiency, scale applications, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced telco-focused environment.

The role emphasizes security practices, distributed systems design, and hands-on work with Golang/PHP/Java/Python as needed, with collaboration across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Solid foundation in CI/CD practices and automation.
• Experience deploying and managing containerised environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement and manage containerised environments.
• Oversee code release and deployment processes.
• Identify, manage, and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructure.
• Design and develop automations to improve software engineering efficiency and reduce risk.
• Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Experience with creating and maintaining distributed systems and monolith applications
• PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded
