Job summary

De Nora is seeking a Detail Design Engineer in Metro Manila to manage and improve engineering drawing templates, develop AutoCAD drawings (PID, schematics, GA, isometrics, fabrication, and installation), and support bidding and project phases with site surveys. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, have 3+ years of experience, and demonstrate strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Advance Steel, Inventor an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop, maintain all related engineering drawing templates.
• Follow Group quality directives and suggest improvements.
• Align project scope with Group policies where possible.
• Ensure all work complies with QMS requirements.
• Assist with detail drawing work in bidding and project phases.
• Prepare mechanical design drawings during basic and detail engineering.
• Develop PID, Schematic, GA, Isometric, fabrication, and installation drawings with AutoCAD.
• Attend client meetings as needed based on project location.
• Conduct site surveys to verify information and plant documentation.
• Maintain an organized filing system for electronic and hard-copy documents.
• Liaise with process engineering, fabrication, and project departments for accurate design and costing.
• Maintain effective communication across disciplines to improve basic and detail engineering outputs.
• Able to travel and stay on site short terms when required.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• To follow the company’s policy to ensure as much project scope as possible is kept within the Group.
• Ensure all the work task is following the requirement in the QMS system.
• Assist on detail drawing work as needed in a bidding and project phase.
• Prepare mechanical design drawing during basic and detail engineering.
• Prepares and develops drawings with AutoCAD for PID, Schematic diagram on process, GA drawing, Isometric Drawing, fabrication drawing, assembly drawing, installation drawing and manuals.
• Attend meeting with client from time to time subject to the project location.
• Carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing or new plant documentation as and when it is needed.
• Carry out and ensure good filing system for electronic and hard copy documents and is easily retrievable.
• Liaise with process engineering, fabrication, and project department in order to have a more competitive and precise design and costing.
• Maintain effective communication with all internal and external relevant disciplines to continue the improvement plan for the basic and detail engineering work.
• Able to travel and stay short term on project site when needed.
