Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of CAD experience in construction, drafting or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise CAD drawings for civil, structural, and architectural works based on approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, details, and other technical drawings required for construction and project documentation.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, specifications, and consistency with design requirements.
• Incorporate revisions and design changes based on instructions from engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, construction details, and drawing packages for project submission and implementation.
• Coordinate with engineers, estimators, and other technical personnel to clarify drawing requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, templates, revisions, and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret and work from architectural, structural, civil, and other technical plans and specifications.
• Support quantity take-off and estimating activities by providing accurate drawings and measurements when required.
• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within established project timelines and submission deadlines.
• Maintain organized electronic files and ensure that the latest approved drawings are properly recorded and accessible.
• Perform other CAD and technical documentation tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Operator, CAD Technician, Draftsman, or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.

• Strong background in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) drawings.

• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp, or other design/drafting software is an advantage.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, plans, and details.

• Knowledge of basic construction methods, materials, and terminology.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple drawing requirements and deadlines.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, estimators, and project teams.

• Willing to work in a fast-paced construction environment and accommodate project requirements when necessary.
