Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking a Specialist-Design (Jigs, Fixtures & Tooling) to join the Design team. You will perform critical tasks including detailing assemblies, conducting stress checks and ensuring manufacturability of tooling for high‑performance manufacturing programs.

The role requires hands-on design excellence, cross-functional collaboration and a focus on quality. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of relevant experience, expertise in SolidWorks, CATIA, NX and ERP tools, plus

Qualifications

4+ years of total working experience in related domain.
Fluent knowledge of SolidWorks and engineering design principles.
Fluent knowledge of full design cycle of large and complex assembly at very high-quality level.
Fluent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic and automation design.
Fluent understanding of GD&T and aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Detail part and assembly design, stress calculations and FEA to validate design considerations.
Optimise design for manufacturability, ease of use, cost and weight.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly, test and operation documentation.
Work with manufacturing and assembly teams to realise design ideas.
Resolve non-conformance to minimise impact on project objectives.
Support onboarding of new team members and share best practices.
