Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking a Specialist-Design (Jigs, Fixtures & Tooling) to join the Design team. You will perform critical tasks including detailing assemblies, conducting stress checks and ensuring manufacturability of tooling for high‑performance manufacturing programs.

The role requires hands-on design excellence, cross-functional collaboration and a focus on quality. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of relevant experience, expertise in SolidWorks, CATIA, NX and ERP tools, plus

Qualifications

• 4+ years of total working experience in related domain.
• Fluent knowledge of SolidWorks and engineering design principles.
• Fluent knowledge of full design cycle of large and complex assembly at very high-quality level.
• Fluent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic and automation design.
• Fluent understanding of GD&T and aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Detail part and assembly design, stress calculations and FEA to validate design considerations.
• Optimise design for manufacturability, ease of use, cost and weight.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly, test and operation documentation.
• Work with manufacturing and assembly teams to realise design ideas.
• Resolve non-conformance to minimise impact on project objectives.
• Support onboarding of new team members and share best practices.

As a Specialist within the Design (Jigs, Fixtures& Tooling) team, you will be responsible for performing allcritical tasks, ensuring that our customer receives a great product.
