Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking an Associate - Design (Mechanical) to join a high-performance engineering team. You will independently perform design tasks, ensure manufacturability, and deliver detailed drawings and documentation while collaborating with manufacturing to realize design concepts.

You will apply SolidWorks, GD&T and FEA to validate designs, with a focus on precision, quality and efficiency. The role expects 2+ years of experience and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of total working experience in related domain.
• Proficient engineering design principles and SolidWorks expertise.
• Experience with full design cycle of large assemblies at high quality.
• Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 and lean six sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Detail part and assembly design with stress calculations and FEA.
• Ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency and weight targets.
• Produce manufacturing drawings, assemblies, tests and operation docs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to realize design ideas.
• Address non-conformances to minimize impact on project objectives.
• Deliver work right first time and on time in full.
• Adhere to SOPs and apply best practices in daily tasks.
• Align tasks with project goals and KPIs.
