FiberHome is hiring a Design Engineer to lead IBS/DAS design projects across the Philippines. You will perform RF planning, build 2D/3D models, and generate complete design deliverables for large facilities using iBwave and AutoCAD.

The role requires coordinating with operators like Globe, Smart, and DITO, and traveling nationwide to sites for reviews and implementation support. Strong English communication and project documentation are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in IBS, DAS, RF design, or in-building wireless solutions.
• Proficient in iBwave and AutoCAD, including 2D/3D modeling, radio planning, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of active and passive DAS, Fiber DAS, Pico RRU/ADAS, repeaters, antenna systems, and equipment configuration.
• Familiarity with Philippine mobile operator requirements, frequency bands, and network acceptance KPIs such as RSRP, SINR, and RxLev.
• Ability to independently manage design of large, high-density projects like airports, stadiums, office towers, and mixed-use developments.
• Good English communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports and design documents.
• Willing to travel nationwide as required by project assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop IBS/DAS solutions for large-scale buildings and facilities.
• Perform RF planning, link budget calculations, and coverage simulations using iBwave.
• Create and refine 2D/3D building models, antenna layouts, schematics, and coverage prediction maps.
• Prepare equipment specifications, configuration parameters, and BOM.
• Coordinate with mobile operators and customers (Globe, Smart, DITO) for design reviews and approvals.
• Revise designs based on customer feedback and operator requirements.
• Support site surveys, drive tests, commissioning, troubleshooting, and network optimization.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and implementation team to ensure proper execution of designs.

Are you an experienced IBS/DAS Design Engineer with strong expertise in iBwave and in-building wireless solutions? Join our team and take part in delivering large-scale telecommunications projects across the Philippines!

We are looking for a skilled and technically proficient Design Engineer who can independently manage IBS/DAS design projects, perform RF planning and coverage simulations, and prepare complete technical design deliverables for large-scale facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop IBS/DAS solutions for large-scale buildings and facilities.
• Perform RF planning, link budget calculations, and coverage simulations using iBwave.
• Create and refine 2D/3D building models, antenna layouts, schematics, and coverage prediction maps.
• Prepare equipment specifications, configuration parameters, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with mobile operators and customers, including Globe, Smart, and DITO, for design reviews and approvals.
