Twincom Asia Pacific is seeking a dedicated RF Optimization Engineer to enhance indoor wireless performance. You will analyze, test, and fine-tune RF parameters for optimal coverage and QoS, collaborating with design, implementation, and operations teams to deliver reliable IBS/DAS systems for diverse clients.

On-site role in Taguig City requires 2–3 years in RF optimization, hands-on experience with TEMS, Nemo, spectrum analyzers, and planning tools such as iBwave or Atoll, plus strong KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or related field.
• 2–3 years of RF optimization experience in IBS/DAS or telecom networks.
• Hands-on experience with RF testing tools (TEMS, Nemo, Spectrum Analyzer).
• Strong knowledge of 2G/3G/LTE/5G NR.
• Proficiency with RF planning/optimization tools (iBwave, Atoll).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF performance analysis, drive tests, and KPI monitoring.
• Identify coverage gaps, interference issues, and capacity bottlenecks.
• Recommend parameter adjustments and hardware configurations to improve system performance.
• Perform post-installation testing and acceptance of IBS/DAS systems.

• Troubleshoot RF-related issues during deployment and operations.
• Prepare optimization reports and technical recommendations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Radio Frequency (RF) Optimization Engineer is responsible for enhancing the performance of in-building wireless communication systems. This role focuses on analyzing, testing, and fine-tuning RF parameters to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and quality of service. The engineer works closely with design, implementation, and operations teams to deliver seamless indoor connectivity that meets client and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct RF performance analysis, drive tests, and KPI monitoring.
• Identify coverage gaps, interference issues, and capacity bottlenecks.
• Recommend parameter adjustments and hardware configurations to improve system performance.
• Perform post-installation testing and acceptance of IBS/DAS systems.
• Validate RF designs against actual performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related issues during deployment and operations.
• Prepare optimization reports, performance dashboards, and technical recommendations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation of optimization activities and results.
• Coordinate with RF design engineers, project managers, and field teams.
• Provide technical support to contractors and vendors during optimization phases.
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in RF optimization, IBS/DAS projects, or telecom network performance engineering.
• Hands-on experience with RF testing tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo, Spectrum Analyzer).
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies (2G/3G/LTE/5G NR).
• Proficiency in RF planning and optimization tools (e.g., iBwave, Atoll).
• Expertise in KPI analysis, drive test data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple optimization projects simultaneously.
