Job summary

Vision Express Philippines is seeking a Design Specialist in Metro Manila who is a graduate with a professional license in Interior Design or Architecture and has at least three years of retail/commercial interior fit-out experience. Strong MEP knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp with V-Ray/Enscape are required.

The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, LGU and mall personnel, managing external teams, and guiding projects from concept to turnover of store

Qualifications

• Graduate with a professional license in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Three years of relevant retail/commercial interior fit-out experience.
• MEP engineering knowledge is required.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, and mall/LGU representatives.

Responsibilities

• Project implementation & coordination including setup supervision and manpower management.
• Handle technical BID and clarifications.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings with the team.
• Comply with and monitor construction checklists.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all projects.
• Monitor and validate projects weekly, monthly and in end reports.
• Conduct store visits and support ad hoc tasks.

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Design Specialist must be a graduate & must have a professional licensein Interior design or Architecture with three (3) years of relevant retail/commercial interior fit out experience, must have MEP engineering trade knowledge, experience in technical coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and mall/LGU representatives, Must be able to operate Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketch up with V Ray/ Enscape.

• Managing external consultants, contractors, vendors, LGU and Mall personnel




• Extensive program / project management experience with retail projects (ie. Store in Store (SiS), Kiosks, In-house Projects) from inception to final completion and turnover of project.




• Experience in retail and interior fit out construction and coordination.




• Knowledgeable in construction cost estimate, budget monitoring and value engineering.




• Knowledge of applicable standards for the area of work and quality control.




• Good writing and communication skills.




• Computer knowledge and skills on multiple platforms.




• Knowledgeable in construction methodologies, equipment, tools and manpower use




• Extensive skills for detailing & shop Drawings for Store design Projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
