Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge of Derivatives on OTC products.
• Knowledge of client valuation process and all security types (bonds, equities, commodities, indices) and their accounting treatment.
• Experience with derivative processing and valuation controls.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with management at multiple levels.
• Able to learn quickly and grasp product nuances and processing requirements.
• Strong collaboration with peers, managers, Risk, Technology, Operations and Finance.
• Ability to work under pressure and make accurate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Apply derivatives and securities market knowledge to support accurate trade booking, valuation, and processing.
• Execute controlled processing of trades and lifecycle events per client instructions and reporting.
• Validate trades, valuations, cash flows, and collateral movements for completeness and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve trade-related breaks and exceptions within required timelines.
• Serve as a first-level authorizer for in-scope activities per procedures and controls.
• Act as a primary escalation point for internal and external queries with timely responses.
• Resolve client inquiries within service levels and communicate status and risks clearly.
• Partner with internal teams to drive efficient exception resolution and prevent recurrence.
• Perform root-cause analysis to increase straight-through processing and reduce inquiries.
• Collaborate with client service teams to reduce manual processing and improve end-to-end workflows.
