Qualifications

• BE/B.tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power plant operations with a focus on thermal plants.
• Experience in power generation, particularly thermal power plants, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP and Electrical Systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute start-up and shut-down operations of plant systems as required.
• Maintain observation of plant parameters and respond promptly to deviations.
• Handle emergencies related to BTG, switchyards and grid problems to minimize impact.
• Oversee FGD operations and monitor FGD system parameters.
• Promote energy conservation focusing on SOC, APC, DM water usage and heat rate.
• Ensure safety and adherence to PTW systems and SOPs.
• Drive digitization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
