Job summary

ARBEX in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a Demand Replenishment Planner to drive consensus forecasts and balance supply with demand across PH FMC products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• 5–10 years in supply or demand planning in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Strong Excel, ERP (SAP) and data analysis skills; knowledge of forecasting methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop consensus medium to long term forecasts for PH FMC products.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing consensus demand forecasts for total PH FMC products and the subsequent flow of this information to relevant business functions including Sales, Marketing, Planning, Production, and other Supply Chain related functions, and subsequently implement solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting and ensuring optimal inventory levels through effective inventory management practices and aiming to balance supply with demand to meet customer requirements while maximizing profitability. The role also coordinates information and resolution of supply/demand constraints for Philippines, largely through facilitating SEA FMC IBP processes includes leading of Demand consensus meeting. Be a team member of NPD project and control write off cost to be within target as aligned with commercial team. Manage FG/RM/PM supply plan to meet both service level as well as inventory target.

Job responsibilities include:

• Develop consensus medium term – long term forecasts for PH FMC sales/marketing departments.


• Develop monthly schedule for submission and review of forecasts


• Analyze submitted forecasts versus sales history, previous forecasts, statistical projections, seasonality, planned activity etc.


• Lead demand consensus meeting to gain alignment with PH FMC sales and Marketing team.


• Analyzing market trends and customer behavior: Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer buying patterns to identify potential demand shifts and incorporate them into forecasts for accuracy improvement.


• Format and translate forecasts for all Planning processes.


• Carry out interfaces/uploads of forecast data


• Split forecasts into time buckets (weekly/daily) as required


• Update and maintain versions in system


• Report forecast accuracy, Service KPI incl. inventory projection and develop methods and tools to improve accuracy.


• Generate and publish routine accuracy/KPI reports


• Analyze accuracy/KPI in different scenarios to find trends


• Explore statistical, promotional activity, seasonal or other inputs to forecasting


• Recommend and/or implement system/process enhancements for both demand and supply


• Coordinate/Participate in SEA FMC IBP process.


• Coordinate availability of inputs including KPI’s, sales forecasts, supply plans, etc.


• Convene and participate during SEA FMC IBP meeting.


• Identify issues in meeting business expectations


• Report status and escal... items requiring management attention

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field At least 5-10 year-experience in either supply planning or demand planning in the same industrial business.

Skills &Technical: Planning Knowledge, SAP R3/ECC, APO (or other ERP), Excel advance skill, Power BI Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis techniques Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and demand planning tools Understanding of supply chain management principles and inventory control strategies Business acumen and ability to interpret market trends and customer behavior Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Fluent in English Communication (Speaking / Writing/ Reading) Proficient in Excel
