Job summary

RCBC in Legazpi, Philippines seeks an experienced collections professional to manage delinquent consumer loans through calls, field visits, and emails, with focus on pay-off, restructuring, and recovery strategies. The role targets leakage reduction and recovery at minimal cost while maintaining loan delinquency metrics.

Responsibilities include evaluating debt service capacity, tracing borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Business Management or related course.
• At least 2 years banking experience in lending/remedial management/credit analysis.
• Knowledge of account management, basic documentation, legal procedures and practices, negotiations, risk management.
• Well-versed in BIR, SEC and BSP Regulations.
• Supervisory/team leader experience with past due consumer loans from banks, financial institutions or collection agencies.
• Good written and oral communication; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client’s financial and debt service capacities and traces whereabouts of borrowers if contact is negative; implement alternative actions within guidelines.
• Negotiate with clients on acceptable repayment risk programs and obtain concurrence with offered risk mitigation programs.
