Qualifications

• Debt collection or credit control experience is not required.
• Excellent verbal and written English; proficiency in Filipino is advantageous
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with the capability to handle difficult conversations professionally
• Sound understanding of debt collection legislation and ethical collection practices
• Proficiency with computer systems and collection software; experience with CRM systems is beneficial
• Ability to work independently whilst meeting targets and deadlines
• Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts effectively
• High level of resilience and emotional intelligence when dealing with challenging debtors
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• Professional demeanour and commitment to maintaining company standards and policies

Responsabilités

• Contact debtors via telephone, email, and written correspondence to inform them of outstanding balances and pursue payment
• Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with debtors to facilitate debt recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, communications, and payment arrangements in the company system
• Follow up on agreed payment arrangements to ensure compliance and timely payment
• Prepare collection reports and provide regular updates on recovery progress to management
• Investigate disputed accounts and gather necessary documentation to resolve discrepancies
• Comply with all relevant debt collection legislation and company policies throughout the collection process
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy with debtors at all times whilst firmly pursuing debt recovery
