Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, or related disciplines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Experience in debt collection is preferred.
• Knowledge of Australian legal processes is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of accounts under supervision.
• Initiate and monitor legal recovery actions.
• Conduct collection calls and debt recovery activities.
• Assist solicitors with matters assigned to them.
• Prepare legal documents and related materials.
• Draft and email documents for Australia for printing and filing.
• File legal documents with Courts via online systems.
• Conduct searches, investigations, and skip-tracing.
• Assist with invoicing and billing processes.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare correspondence to clients and obtain instructions for uncontested matters.
• Record work performed and apply charges in the system.
• Identify improvements to internal and external processes.
• Liaise with interstate agents as required.
• Update process manuals and procedural documentation.
