Legal & Paralegal Support
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents related to debt recovery, including demand letters, notices, pleadings, and affidavits
- Maintain and update case files for litigation, arbitration, and enforcement matters
- Liaise with external lawyers, courts, and enforcement agencies regarding collection cases
- Track legal deadlines, court dates, and case progress
- Assist in ensuring compliance with debt collection laws, regulations, and internal policies
Remedial & Collections Support
- Assist in developing and implementing remedial action plans for delinquent or non-performing accounts
- Monitor overdue accounts and support recovery strategies such as restructuring, settlements, or payment plans
- Prepare reports on recovery performance, delinquency trends, and remedial outcomes
- Follow up with debtors professionally and in accordance with legal guidelines
- Support asset recovery, repossession, or enforcement actions where applicable
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to collections and legal cases
- Prepare management reports, summaries, and status updates
- Coordinate correspondence with debtors, legal representatives, and internal departments
- Support audits and internal reviews related to collections and remedial actions
Qualifications & Skills
Job Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, legal support, or remedial/credit recovery roles (preferred
