Qualifications

• Experience in data stewardship, governance, or data operations in tech.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and data usage governance.
• Strong metadata management, data cataloging, and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and onboarding high-value data with stakeholders.
• Maintain governance standards for data accuracy, lineage, and permissible use.
• Manage data catalog and dictionary; ensure metadata accessibility.
• Classify data with standard taxonomies; promote discoverability across teams.
• Lead as SME on MRI's data assets and educate stakeholders on capabilities and limitations.
• Respond to data requests within 1 business day ensuring sourcing and quality.
• Engage stakeholders and enable data-driven decisions across product, legal, and engineering.
• Identify AI-powered tools to streamline stewardship and scalability.
• Contribute to best practices and playbooks for onboarding and stewardship.
