Job summary

MRI Software’s Data Division is seeking a Data Steward to lead data governance, quality, and stewardship across our data assets. You will educate teams, align expectations with stakeholders, and ensure data integrity while supporting the organization’s analytics initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, legal and data science teams, shaping the data program in a fast-paced start-up within a global company.

Qualifications

• Experience in data stewardship, governance, or data operations roles.
• Clear ability to define data scope and requirements across complex environments.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and data usage governance.
• Familiarity with data cataloging and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Source and onboard high-value data with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance criteria: accuracy, lineage, permissible use.
• Maintain data catalog and metadata accessibility for stakeholders.
• Respond to data requests within 1 business day with proper sourcing.
• Engage with product, legal, and engineering to enable data-driven decisions.
