Job summary

Northern Trust in Manila seeks a Consultant for Data Management to ensure the reliability and consistency of HR data. You will enforce data governance, support BI reports and data products, and serve as a second line of support for inquiries and incidents across HR programs.

The role blends strong data management fundamentals with pragmatic operations and collaborative stakeholder communication, working with Data Engineering/BI teams to optimize performance and enable self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in information systems, CS, statistics, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in data operations, BI analytics, or data governance.
• Hands-on with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL (intermediate).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and tools (Azure Data Factory, dbt, Informatica).
• Familiarity with data governance practices and data catalog tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance routines and data quality checks for HR analytics.
• Maintain business definitions, glossary, and data catalog entries across reports.
• Monitor data pipelines, handle incidents, and coordinate remediation with owners.
• Provide second-line support for user inquiries and create user-facing documentation.
