Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on with data quality/profiling tools (IDQ/CDQ, Ataccama, Talend DQ, Great Expectations, Deequ).
• Strong understanding of data quality dimensions and management practices.
• Advanced SQL and data profiling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data profiling and quality assessments across critical data domains.
• Define and implement data quality rules, thresholds, KPIs, and scorecards for CDEs.
• Assess data against completeness, validity, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and timeliness.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize data quality issues by business impact.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with business, governance, and technology teams to fix issues.
• Monitor data quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Summary

The Data Quality Lead will drive data profiling and quality assessment activities, ensuring critical data elements (CDEs) meet defined quality standards. The role focuses on defining data quality rules, identifying root causes of issues, and recommending practical remediation actions to improve data reliability and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data profiling and data quality assessments across critical data domains.
• Define and implement data quality rules, thresholds, KPIs, and scorecards for CDEs.
• Assess data against key quality dimensions: completeness, validity, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and timeliness.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize data quality issues based on business impact.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable remediation actions.
• Collaborate with business, data governance, and technology teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Monitor data quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Management, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with data quality/profiling tools such as Informatica IDQ/CDQ, Ataccama, Talend DQ, Great Expectations, Deequ, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data quality dimensions and quality management practices.
• Advanced SQL and data profiling skills.
• Proven ability to define quality thresholds, analyze issues, determine root causes, and drive remediation.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work directly with business, Data Governance, EDP, MDM, API and architecture teams.
