Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced PoD Lead & Data Governance SME to drive the Data Governance PoD, shaping strategy, operating model, and roadmaps for enterprise data governance adoption.

You will engage senior stakeholders across business and technology, define stewardship structures, manage CDEs, SORs, and glossaries, and deliver governance metrics and future-state recommendations while supporting governance tool adoption.

Qualifications

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced PoD Lead & Data Governance SME to lead a Data Governance Proof of Delivery (PoD). The role will drive governance strategy, operating model design, stakeholder alignment, and roadmap development, ensuring successful adoption of enterprise data governance practices.

Your Role

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Data Governance PoD.
• Engage and manage senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Define and implement the Data Governance framework, operating model, and stewardship structure.
• Drive data domain prioritization and governance decision-making.
• Establish and manage Business Glossary, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), Systems of Record (SORs), and governance workflows.
• Provide leadership reporting, governance metrics, and future-state roadmap recommendations.
• Support governance tool adoption and best practices.

Your Profile

• 10-15 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Strategy.
• Strong functional expertise in Data Governance frameworks and operating models.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Informatica Axon, EDC, CDGC, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience defining stewardship models, business glossaries, CDEs, SORs, and approval workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and program leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation capabilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work directly with business, Data Governance, EDP, MDM, API and architecture teams.
