Job summary

EastWest Bank is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and operate enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines in a hybrid Metro Manila setting. You will drive DataOps and MLOps practices, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure while collaborating with data science, risk, engineering, and IT operations teams.

The role emphasizes CI/CD automation, governance, and reliable data services to advance AI initiatives across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native data platforms using Databricks, dbt, Kafka and cloud services.
• Implement DataOps and MLOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment pipelines for data and ML workloads.
• Manage code repositories and deployment processes through GitLab with pipeline automation.
• Ensure platforms meet performance, quality, security, audit, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Risk, Engineering, and IT Operations to deliver secure data platforms.
• Support platform upgrades, incident resolution, and continuous improvement for reliability and scalability.
