Job summary

Desco, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Data Operations Assistant to support our Business Analyst. You will collect, clean, structure, and maintain operational and production data to enable high-level business analysis.

Ideal candidates have advanced Excel skills, attention to detail, and basic data knowledge; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is a plus, and fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

Advanced Excel/Spreadsheet skills with formulas, Pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data cleansing.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Understanding of how data sets connect with business reporting.
Strong communication to coordinate with departments for data gathering.
Basic knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Data Collection & Extraction: gather raw data from department logs and production schedules.
Data Cleaning & Alignment: filter, clean, and align data to reporting needs.
Workflow Support: assist in monitoring workflows and production schedules with timely updates.
Documentation: maintain records of data sources and SOPs for data collection.
Reporting Support: create basic summaries, charts, or tables from collected data.
