The SDO Business Analyst supports the Sales Delivery Office by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data to inform reporting, pipeline visibility, and operational decision-making. This is an entry-level role well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in building analytical expertise within a growth-oriented environment. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or Salesforce is a plus and will be developed further in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting:
- Build and maintain Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and reporting templates for Sales Delivery Office operations.
- Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency across internal reports.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for sales, operations, and executive stakeholders.
Business Intelligence Support:
- Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and visualizations (preferred).
- Support data refresh processes and flag anomalies or reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Analytics to evolve reporting standards.
Systems & Platform Familiarity:
- Pull and organize data from Salesforce to support pipeline reporting, backlog analysis, and performance tracking.
- Support workflow automation tasks using Microsoft Power Automate as directed (preferred).
Data Integrity & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate, version-controlled files across shared drives and internal systems.
- Document data sources, definitions, and report logic to support team continuity.
- Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders through structured summaries and visuals.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning, conditional formatting.
- Familiarity with Power BI a plus; willingness to develop proficiency expected.
- Exposure to Power Automate and/or Salesforce data pulls a plus.
- Strong attention to detail; comfortable working with large or complex datasets.
- Clear communicator with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, information systems, or related field preferred.
